hah like my chinese is THAT bad like that.
5 things i've learnt from promos:

1. lie your head on the table while you do the paper, it helps you think better (for me at least)
2. dont call mr loke when there's a spider on the table like the girl beside me did cos he'll just laugh at you.
3. get chicken pox 2 weeks before and miss GP paper! -.-
4. read question correctly! dont read CORRECT as INCORRECT, TRUE as FALSE, HBR as HCL!
5. i dont like things that start with the letter P, like promos, prelims, AND PW (thanks anne!), but i like Presents and physics (:

k i'm just bored.
like seriously seriously bored.
have been watching 命中注定我爱你 (under the influence of Jianee, Jiayun and Julynn) and now i finally know what they've been talking abt!
though throughout the show i've to repeat it several times since i cant comprehend the first time i hear it and understand the subtitles the first time i see it -.-
man, i've got to do sth abt my chinese!

oh and the piece i'm supposed to perform has been selected!
Tchaikovsky's piano concerto in Bflat minor.
that's 5 flats!
it's the hardest piece i've ever learnt, harder that "Pathetic Sonata" by Beethoven ):
spent lots of time practising it.
no, actually figuring out the 13notes chords that come one after the other and my hands arent even big enough to play them /:
ee yucks, i dont like practising.

anyway, today was Rice day again! (:
it's a church thing that started 3 sundays ago where we went to the dover residents of block 3 and 4 and gave them rice.
offered to do any small household chores for them too.
one lady wanted us to paint her house! and she spent 30mins talking to us abt how she liked dancing.
i guess they're really lonely sometimes.
had buffet lunch with them today.
so all the residents interacted.
should've seen the old men and women!
they all looked so happy having other people to talk to.
really felt very warm and fuzzy inside seeing them happy (:

oh and i went to cut my hair ytd and "HAIR BUSINESS"
haha they had machines to wash and shampoo your hair!
it's coolios to the max though it makes your head feel funny.
haha, my hair looks exactly the same though!
just trimmed my fringe -.-

k and i should stop blogging abt my daily life, it aint THAT interesting after all.
i was bored!

started off doing chem eAssessment only to find that my blackboard account's been hacked into ):
had 6 attempts, 5 of which have been used by some anonymous person.
of this 5 attempts out of a possible score of 25,

attempt 2: 0
attempt 3: 0
attempt 4: 0
attempt 5: 12

thanks ah, whoever it is.
did the last attempt myself and got 22 so i'm quite all right with it.
there's nothing that can be done anyway.

so decided to play some bridge on viwawa.
in a room with all level 1s,
bid: 7 clubs
partner: ace spade (himself)

in the next room with level 9,4,5,
bid: 7 spades
partner: ace diamond (himself)

hmm..
maybe this is a sign that i should start studying.

Dear Sir/Madam,

The above mentioned patient consulted us today.
She was seen on 8th Sept due to rashes which resembled early chicken pox.
She was reviwed today and the dianogsis of her chicken pox is confirmed.
Her condition is highly contagious and i have covered her with an MC till 20th Sept.
I would be most grateful if you can postpone her exams till later date when she has fully recovered.

yes, so as can be seen above, i've been given 10 more days of MC, a total of 13 days ):
guess i shall take this time to study hard for promos.
though this means,
no chem SPA
no physics SPA
no GP paper

oh ya, and btw, doctor says only 3% of the population get chicken pox twice.
and i've got it twice.
